Organizational Resilience Capacity Assessment

As they work together, employees build up an organization’s collective resilience capacity –  its readiness for change and challenge. They demonstrate specific resilience-related workgroup characteristics.

The Organizational Resilience Capacity Assessment (ORCA) assesses the presence of five particular sets of workgroup beliefs and behaviors: purposeful communication, confident competence, focused determination, enacted capability, and ingenuity/bricolage.

Eight of the 30 ORCA items refer to Purposeful Communication – a kind of unique, ongoing, consequential dialogue. As a sample, get a Purposeful Communication score for your workgroup here.
